Age isn’t even a leash.

Some people, however, treat age as a cage or a ball and chain.

There appears to be a certain threshold where some people lose the childlike wonder and awe of the world around them.

For many there’s a feeling that once one has reached a certain number of trips around the sun, the fun stops.

I have seen a rather alarming number of people my age, and some a bit younger who have settled. It is now no longer an option to try anything new or exciting.

I have also met people older than me on both sides of the spectrum. Some have aged in years and wisdom but are still young in spirit. The others have aged in years and spirit.

There is nothing under the sun, no physical law or man-made rule that state once you hit 40 the fun must stop. That once you hit 40 you no longer get to attempt anything new and exciting.

40 is when life really starts to get exciting. If you do it right.

Don’t let age hold you back. Go and do the thing you have always wanted to do.
