This was my final year of taking part in the GoodReads reading challenge.
I have no issue with the challenge, except what it’s doing in my mind. It’s turning reading into a less fun activity.
It becomes all too important to make sure I read my goal. Turning reading into a chore.
Reading for fun and learning, that’s the ultimate goal. Not to try beat someone else for some imaginary prize.
