In my mind, there are two kinds of walks.

There is the walk for physical health. Where the walker in question tries to walk faster and farther every time.

Then there is the walk for mental health. This is more of a stroll. It doesn’t get your body very far, but your mind gets to go places.

It is the kind of slow amble – alone or with a partner – where conversations happen. You can talk to yourself and use the time to work things out. It is also a time for observing the world around you. To notice the beauty in the mundane.
